This rake helps remove the shedding undercoat from short and medium length double coated breeds such as Cocker Spaniels, Chows, Collies, German Shepherds, Golden Retreivers and similarily coated. Also can be used on persian cats. The teeth easily penetrate the thickest of coats and remove the loose undercoat before it sheds.
